On Ricks birthday he had box seats to the MUSE concert at the Honda Center (thanks DOW)...then at the last minute the client backed out (say what?!) so...we were able to bring our friends Rod and Vanessa along instead. In the restaurant the boys started gettin pumped for the big show. We went to eat at Summit House - YUM!They were amazing! Look at that set! It kept rising and falling, it was so cool.In the DOW box...holla! Ok, this pic needs some explaining...this chick was all drunk and all over her boyfriend, pressed up against the glass that separates our boxes...Rick had his back to them until I pointed out to him that he was basically pressed up against a couple gettin' it on...so he decided he needed in on the action. lol...notice the creepy reflection of the performers face in between? love it. p.s. i am NOT kidding (even tho i wish i was) when i tell you that later on that night these two could be seen with her STRADDLING him in his seat totally going for it...um excuse me you have guests in your booth...awkward...and these are GLASS walls...hello we can see you! (did i mention their box belongs to a local law firm? im sure they'd be interested to know what's goin on in their box!)This guy was another favorite of mine. Serious hard core air guitar through the ENTIRE performance. With the most "in the zone" face ever. To say rick loved this band would be an understatement.and of course he insisted we stay until everyone and everything was gone...he had to see how they took down the set. (roll eyes) it was his birthday so i allowed it...even tho it took FOREVER.

They Say It's Your BIRTHDAY!!
Maybe it's been too long since I last posted...or maybe I am just totally way too tired right now but for some reason it's not letting me change the order of my photos...i know some of you are really organized and awesome and post them in the order you actually wanna type them out in but mine are usually backward. so...this post wont make a lotta sense the way it flows but...oh well, its not lettin me switch things up.
That being said...this year we celebrated Ricks big 3-0 swedish style. (he served his mission there). It was super fun, I had Ikea cater the meatballs and potatoes and gravy and lingonberries (dont ask - yuck!) plus good ol' Rod stepped up and made some of his awesome homemade garlic mashed. It was good stuff...we had swedish cheeses and weird cracker bread things and a swedish candy table. We also had traditional swedish drinks and other good stuff. It was a lotta fun.
What Bri? Video you takin' a picture of me? great idea.
Pretty much all night Marley could be found being swung around the room by various cousins (Crew pictured here) in the Toutai's baby walker thing. Pretty sure this is NOT how this thing is intended to be used but she loved it. Too much, in fact bratty too much...as in she would scream "PUSH ME" all snotty if anyone dare let her sit idle too long.
Notice the little feet secured on the front bumper? love it. Also love how shes lookin back at Crew like "see, isnt this so fun? you'd WAY rather be pushing me then jumping in the jumper anyway"
