Pretty in Pink

I think I happen to have just about the happiest baby there ever was. It's hard to catch this girl not smiling or laughing, and Grandpa Dalton sure got some cute shots for her 7 month (supposed to be 6...oops...blame Braydee for getting married!) The problem is she loves loves loves her tongue and wanted it in every shot as well...oh well, she's still pretty darn cute. Now everyone can stop being mad at me for not posting about Marley in forever. Here she is in the cute little dress and purse Grandpa Dalton bought for her for a photo op, thanks Grandpa!

She had fun just rollin' around on the backdrop, playing with her purse. Too bad you can't really see her best features that well in these shots, she has the biggest brown eyes with the most amazing eyelashes, they're unreal. Marley is just about crawling, she can army crawl all the way across the room, sits up really well unsupported and likes to say dadadada and baba and mamama, but of course she has no idea what they mean. She loves the sound of her voice and grunts and growls and laughs and screams and squeals, she sure is a lot of fun. And her favorite person alive is still Dylan, who is very protective of her. I just love being a Mommy!

Here Comes the Bride...

Okay...because I am SO slow at posting things...these were taken up in UT about a month before the big day (which already happened). I took my camera and followed my sis-in-law who actually knows what she's doing (thanks Laura!) and just shot a few of my own. Here's some of my fav's...unedited because I don't know how the heck to do that yet. I did manage to turn them to sepia with photoshop, which sadly is a big step for me.Some shots I left in color after Sepia because I kinda liked both ways. Those of you who are pros, any tips would be MORE then appreciated. Anyways...here she is, my totally stunning sis Braydee lookin' all grown up and beautiful.

Ok, I got a little carried away with this first one adding crazy texture and stuff to make it look old but don't worry, I learned my lesson and didn't do it on any of the others.

A little pouty but I'll take it. My mom looked at my shots and was like..."she looks angry...why does she look so angry...why isn't she smiling?" So, in Braydee's defense absolutely all of my shots were either candid or taken while she posed for Laura so she never knew when I was clicking away...she really was a VERY happy bride.

This next one was kinda funny, I just thought it would be fun to have a pic of how she walked around town all day and didn't even notice the shoe repair sign and didn't think it would be one that would really be worth looking at considering she's following Erica around the side of the building, I luckily managed to not get Erica in the shot and this ended up being one of my top three favs...not sure why I just like it.

This last one was just to show what the heck we did with that couch in the snow...yes we carried it all the way out there! Poor Braydee...talk about dedicated, she was absolutely freezing and had snow in her heels and was stepping in powder that went well above her bare ankles. She couldn't feel most of her body for most of these shots so, pretty much a trooper and lookin' good the whole time.

Thanks Brayds for letting me practice on you, I'm loving figuring out all this photography stuff.
